As a Qualified professional instructor and fly tyer and most importantly, an angler first and foremost
for over 35 years, I believe in using quality tackle and quality tying materials in all to do with my
fishing. Quality does not have to be the dearest on the market there are many which may be a lot cheaper
and are perfect for our needs. The main thing is that in products are designed to do what they are
supposed to do without having to be the most expensive items on the market. You will always get honest
advice from me from which you can make an informed choice from. For me the angler comes first!
Being passionate about everything that is fly fishing, it is important for
an angler to be confident in asking questions and being given the
right guidance to help him or her enjoy their sport. Like tuition,
it is most important that it is given by someone who is qualified
and registered with the Game Angling Instructors Association, that
way you will get off on the right foot and it doesn't cost a lot
of money to start off right.
I am often asked "Can you give me a couple of tips in casting?". It would be totally unprofessional of
me to give you 2 minutes casting advice which will help neither you or me. It takes time to learn
everything and if it is worth taking time to do something, it is worth doing it right! So if you would
